Kate is originally from Christchurch, NZ. She grew up on a farm in North Canterbury, so she claims to be a true Canterbury lamb. Yes, the rumors are correct, N.Z has 40 million sheep and only 4 million people. In the early 1980's the sheep population was close to 80 million and you guessed it, only 3 million people. Something drastic had to be done, so now you know why you see NZ lamb on the supermarket shelves. Some like Kate fled the ever increasing sheep population to warmer climates and has been in Los Angeles since 1997.
